In dieser Vorlesung werden Themen und Theorien vorgestellt, kritisch besprochen und in interdisziplinären Zusammenhängen verortet, die die Ethnologie seit ungefähr dem Jahr 2000 bestimmen. Wir orientieren uns dabei an zentralen Paradigmen und Paradigmenwechseln und vertiefen abstrakte Überlegungen anhand ausgewählter Beispiele. Neben aktuellen Kontroversen geht es auch um Schlüsselkonzepte und um methodologische Neuerungen, die das Fach in seiner aktuellen Gestalt maßgeblich prägen.Termine
