Holger Tr\u00f6bs is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Anthropology and African Studies of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where he has been teaching Bambara and Swahili for many years.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has conducted extensive field research on the Mande languages in Mali, Burkina Faso, and Ivory Coast. His research interests focus in particular on Functional Morphosyntax (Manding, Swahili), Language Typology and Universals, and Mande Oral Tradition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
